Once again, we're off to the amazing Chatham Islands in March 2012.
Included in this tour: (NB. This is a comprehensive, ‘all inclusive’ tour package)
- All transport and sightseeing as detailed in the itinerary below
- Door‐to‐door pick up from Westport, Greymouth or Hokitika.
- Airfare, CHCH to Chathams and return, with light refreshments included.
- Return transfers to and from the airport.
- 7 nights hotel accommodation on the Chatham Island Full programme of tours and sightseeing for 7 days while we are there.
- Fully guided tours to Owenga (Tommy Solomon Memorial), Rangaika (coastal cliffs), Kaingaroa (seal colony and whaling station visit), Hapupu (dendroglyph – tree carvings), Nikau Reserve, Port Hutt (basalt columns), Waitangi West and the South Coast (Tuku Nature Reserve)
- A number of guided walks for those wishing to – from 5 mins to 5 hrs for the keen ones Local guide with local knowledge and commentary
- Morning and afternoon teas each day

- Optional activities: eg Pitt Is. day trip ($325.00pp, Mar ‘11 or deep sea fishing ($120.00pp for ½ day).

NB/ The daily programme is subject to change depending on weather, land access, current farming activities, landowner agreements etc. Not all visits detailed below will be possible. In particular, those electing to go to Pitt Is or deep sea fishing may have to compromise on the programme.
